Years of network marketing has taught me one thing – you really need supplies – especially labels and envelopes, and you should find the best solutions at the best price.
I spent quite a bit of time looking in stores (literally walking in) and online for pricing. I looked at Staples, Office Depot, and other discount websites. I found pricing to be most economical on Amazon. As an Amazon affiliate, I earn a small (very small) commission if you use my links below.
I promise – these are the best prices for the items listed on Amazon. Do you have a better source that is worthwhile? I’d love to be able to share it, just let me know.
Amazon Basics #10 Security Envelopes- box of 500
These are the cheapest envelopes – bar none. I checked the Dollar Store, Staples, Office Depot, etc.
If you are a Prime member, they ship free and they are delivered quickly. Usually the security and plain are the same price.
AmazonBasics 10 Security Tinted Business Envelopes – 4 1/8-Inch x 9.5-Inch, 500 Pack
Avery Labels, 1″ x 2-5/8″
If you have tried labels that get stuck in the printer, print badly, or whatever – welcome to the world of label printing.
That’s why I only use Avery labels. They don’t get stuck and feed nicely.
You have a choice here – a box of 750 labels is item #8160, or a box of 3,000 labels is item #8460. They are all 30 labels per sheet.
Envelope Sealer/Moistener
I put this on the list of “dumb things it’s just nice to have”.
After a while of licking envelopes, you might get pretty dry in the mouth. Here’s a cheap $1.50 solution – just add water.
Custom Self-Inking Rubber Stamp
I use this to add my return address to envelopes. An easy task while watching TV or sitting around. I like that it is self-inking. Not so messy to work with.
Note: I noticed some reviewers said the writing was too small. That may be true for some things, but it is just right for a return address.
Custom Self-Inking Stamp – Up to 3 Lines – 11 Color Choices and 17 Font Choices
Stamp Roll Dispenser
Keeps stamps neat – but, truth be told, I use so many stamps that this is not needed. But you may find it useful.
Rubber Bands
I like to keep my letters and postcards in neat bundles when bringing them to the post office or putting them in the mailbox. I use a lot of rubber bands. These are cheap and will last you a while.
PS Depending on your post office, they might have rubber bands to give you for free if you ask when you go there.
